Global Gems and Geology, LLC is focused on understanding geologic environment of mineral deposits, including gemstones, gold, and other resources. To that end, our basic geologic tools include field studies, remote sensing, geochemistry, petrographic studies, structural and tectonic analysis, and consultation with a wide range of geological expertise, both local and international. Our strength is the ability to synthesize this wide range of data and knowledge to come to scientific conclusions on geologic occurrence and potential of the deposits of interest.

We have more than 30 years of experience in these endeavors and our record is clearly documented in more than 300 publications, including books, maps, scientific articles, and abstracts of presentations at meetings.

Past studies have been in a wide range of subjects throughout North America, and in many countries in the world including Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Australia, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, Portugal, England, Uzebekistan, Tajikistan, Mexico, Panama, and others.

We are interested and willing to participate in similar efforts anywhere in the world in an attempt to help understand and develop valuable resources. We want to see emerging markets/countries develop and grow. We intend to help in this effort. Our current areas of interest are Brazil, China, and Afghanistan.
